White scar on dark skin?

*asked for 2nd time*

i think it's scar at least. i had a scab (on face) and it's decent sized size of a nickel) and it left pinkish skin underneath when the scab came off and i did use a bunch of creams and crap. but now it's basically white and even tho the dark skin surrounding the white skin has blended into each other, it still is very very visible and is still white even tho i have been using vitamin E. i need to know if there is any kind of cream to get rid of this/reduce the size/ get the color back cuz i am naturally tan and it is very noticeable. please i need some help guys, i am going to doctor soon but i want to know if any of u know what i can do?

White scar on dark skin?
The darker your skin is the worse your scars will always be.

White people can also have bad scarring too, my sister has it and there is a term for it. I forget what it is.

I don't know if you removed the scab, but they advise not to do this as it will make scars worse.

I would try mederma and ask your doctor if he could suggest anything.

Definately stay out of the sun!!!
Reply:I hear maderma works well.try it
Reply:Well because your skin is dark, you run the risk of it hyperpigmenting when it normalizes. Meaning: I might get really dark. So try mederma or neosporin to keep it from being so irritated that it darkens a great amount.
Reply:Try the Neutrogena Visibly Even Night Concentrate. Its a high performance nightly facial moisturizer with Essential Soy %26amp; Retinol that evens out skin tone and regenerates the look of dull skin while you sleep. Apply quite a bit and within a few days you should begin to see results.
Reply:If it were a scar there was only tattooing that would make it be less visible as the skins natural ability to pigment is damaged, the other option is that it might be a kind of fungus (mycosis) that you will be able to very effectively beat with the right creme (fungicidal ointment). But therefore you will need a doctor to tell you

which exactly as their are many kinds and you need the right stuff for the cause as well as carefully follow the instructions. good luck.
