Which is less harsh on skin..shaving, waxing or hair removal creams?

waxing without a doubt. i mean in the long run, yuo're gonna have bumps on your skin and cuts and all that hassle and money spent on shaving.

and about the depillatory creams like nair and veet, ive heard of so many bad experiences with them, some include the skin being burned off along with the hair or extreme pain and ineffectiveness.

and for shaving, youre always at the risk for ingrown ahirs or stubble which can actually be worse than hair itself.

ive gone through so many hair removal products and i found that Nad's was the best. its a 12oz jar of this clear green goo that you just smear a thin layer on and pat this linen cloth on and pull it off. it was so simple and my hair was about 1/5 or 1/6 of an inch long. and its so fast too. and best of all, the goo grabs onto your hairs so well that it just doesnt hurt. i have no idea how thats possible but it is. its $30 so its pretty expensive, which is why you can make ur own homemade wax.

in fact, i just came back from waxing my arms and legs.

i put in 1/2 cup of honey, 1/2 cup of sugar, and one teaspoon of cornstarch. then i mixed this for about five-seven minutes on low heat, not too low cuz then yuo'll stand there forever, and low too high otherwise you'll brun it. and then, while i let that cool, i go to the bathroom and fill the sink up with hot water. then i put that mixture in the sink of hot water (it should be floating, mine did) and i got a popsicle stick and cut up some strips of cotton/linen cloth(about 2 x 5 large). and i use the popsicle stick to see if its cool enough yet. and if it is, i just stir the mixture until its creamy and spread a thin layer over my arm/leg and then i smooth the cotton/linen cloth on and rub that cloth about 20-30 times, then i rip it off the way oppsite of the hair growth. and i just repeat.

and the sink full of hot water is so that the mixture doesnt get hard, otherwise it'll be difficult to apply. and you wouldnt believe how much that 1/2 cup of honey and sugar can last you.

then i just throw the clothes into the wash and take a bath or shower to finish it off.

and for waxing, youre hair doesnt have to be like 1/2 an inch long to wax, its usually more effective, but hair as short as 1/8 of an inch can be waxed too. 1/8 of inch is basically how much hair grows out about 3-5 days after the last shave. which really isnt that long to wait for hair to grow out.

one more thing, if youre going for a cheap and fast way of hair removal, try duct tape, ive never tried it because i prefer my honey%26amp;sugar method but i've heard it works.

Reply:shaving..
Reply:I would say shaving because the wax can get too hot or stick to your skin, plus it's ungodly painful. I would definitely stay AWAY from creams if you have slight sensitive skin. I have really sensitive skin, so ANY cream makes me break out. It sucks. I just shave and never have a problem. The only think that's gay about shaving is the fact you have to do it every other day to keep up with it....you could always go with laser hair removal. I would like to try that sometime.
Reply:waxing as if done properly your skin should be prepared before hand to make the hair removal less stressful for your skin
Reply:Wax is also harshful for slimy skin and shaving has after effects i think and suggest u to use Hair removal cream it also give s soft look tou ur sking and fragrance also.
Reply:A Depilatory called "Veet" is good ...less harsh than Nair I have found...but if it's your face anyone...i recommend that you see a beautician for a facial waxing.
Reply:I'm not sure whats best on your skin but shaving is the most hygienic thing to do!
Reply:It depends on your skin type. For example, I can't have waxing because it's really bad for my skin. With shaving you can cut your skin so that might not be the best but hair removal creams have never given me any trouble and they are easy to use. But if you have sensitive skin maybe they are not the best option, although you can also get these creams for sensitive skin type.
Reply:I personaly think hair removal because it gives your skin a soft and hair less skin
