Premature Skin Aging?

Hi, I'm experiencing the effect of years and years of unprotected sun exposure (i'm a red head as well). I have freckles everywhere but even worse, i'm starting to look a lot older than I am (fine lines etc).

I've heard there is a certain type of cream that is applied by a dermatologists that will cause the skin to peel and get rid of most of problem. How much would something like that cost?

Also, are there over the counter alternatives such as some sort of facial scrub? I don't understand the science behind it so that may not work. Let me know what you think.

Premature Skin Aging?
Tretinoin or Retinoic acid, a naturally occuring form of Vit A, is the most effective treatment on sun-damaged skin. It will primarily cause the skin to peel, to reveal the new, smoother, even toned, skin underneath. It is applied lightly at night.

It is also important that you apply sunblock before sun exposure while on tretinoin.

The cost depends on the brand that you're going to get. Ask your local pharmacist if they offer anything over-the-counter with .01%-.025% concentration.
