So clueless when it comes to skin care, PLEASE HELP!?

I am 29, but dont look it i still often get ID for alcohol, anyways as i am well on my way to 30 yrs, so i wanted to start a new skin care regime...

I am not positive what i need, the only things i noticed is the need for pore tightening, and i have a very slight variance in skin tones (freckles, faint pinker areas) i am concerned about starting something for wrinkles as well.

right now i only use dove brightening moisturizer, and dive nightime cream.

What would you recommend to use daily for tightening pores evening skin tones, and future wrinkle defense?

also is it ok to mix brands ie, morning use avenno product for tightening, something else for evening skint one etc...?

thanx a bunch!

So clueless when it comes to skin care, PLEASE HELP!?
It's always great to be thinking ahead. A regime with pure and natural products helps tremendously - although most skin care is personal - I do suggest Arbonne. They make 3 regimes.

One for acne

One for 16-29 year olds

and another for 29+ the re9.

I have the best skin I ever had since plunging. It's not cheap but it's rewarding to have glowing skin (I am 39) and using botanical based products.
Reply:I always recommend Biore products to everyone. They are absolutely the best.

I use these products twice a day:

-Pore minimizing foaming face wash

-Pore minimizing lightweight moisturizer

Once a week:

-Deep cleansing pore strips

Take a look at their website, I'm sure you'll find something that satisfies your needs... And by the way, all of Biore's products smell amazing!
Reply:I am 28 years old and still look young too....But that's a GOOOOOOD thing!!!! You should use Arbonne. They have all kinds of skin care products and things for wrinkles, etc. Plus the products do not have mineral oil, fragrances and have never been tested on animals. They are wonderful products.
Reply:make sure to wash your face everyday %26amp; wear sun screen when you go out to prevent any sun damage. the uneven skin tones can easily be covered up by using a very light powder foundation. don't use too much just enough to even out the skin tone. stick to natural products when wanting to take care of your skin. if you want to mix brands be VERY careful cause it can cause a bad reaction on your skin since there might be chemicals..so i wouldn't suggest you do that. good luck !
Reply:I would go to a place with a skin consultant and get some advice. Some places like Estee Lauder, Lancome, etc., will give you a free facial and give you ideas as to what you need to do. Tell them what your concerns are and what you would like to do with your face.
Reply:I'm 33 and began using the anti-aging line from Arbonne about 2 years ago. The serum will help with skin healthy cell turnover, increase moisture retention, and help smooth out fine lines %26amp; wrinkles. The serum comes in a 6-step system and when used together yields maximum results. I'd also recommend the Deep pore masque or Thermal fusion masque - great for the pores! PM me if you want details!
Reply:Hi! I'm a Mary Kay consultant so I'm a little biased on products, but I did use other brands prior to becoming a MK consulant...with that said...yes it does matter if you're mixing brands. Most companies formulate their skin care products to work together. Our TimeWise anti-aging products are the #1 skin care products in the USA (study done by an independent company not by MK). I absolutely love these products b/c they're simple to use and they also provide the anti-aging ingredients as well. I'm in my 30's and I get asked what grade I'm in all the time! I've used MK for 8 years. :-) You can find a consultant in your area or I'd be happy to mail you samples of our TW line in your skin type. Just let me know. Feel free to email me at stephsmk@yahoo.com

Reply:I have to agree with the M/K lady...I'm a cosmetologist/make-up artist and I always recommend to my clients to stay within the same line...for optimum benefits. A line is meant to work together, and while you can get away with "cocktailing" products, (I mean, nothing horrific will happen) you won't get as good of benefits as you would staying within the same line.

I really recommend the Rodan %26amp; Fields line. It's a cosmeceutical line created by dermatologists. It has a perfect blend of medicines and botanicals. They have several regimens, but from what you're describing, it sounds as if you could benefit from the Reverse regimen, or the Anti-Aging regimen. Anyone over 25 should be on an anti-aging regimen! Their website is www.rodanandfields.com good luck...Happy cleansing!
