Skin help!!!?

i have really bad skin and im 14. well i already went to a doctor they gave me some cream but it doesnt help that much it only getts rid of a little pimples. and i have dry oliy skin and i have red scars how do i get rid of the scars? and how can i get glowy skin?

Eat lots of fruits, vegetables and juices- your skin will start glowing.





For acne, you have to attack acne where it starts, with your diet. For me, diet was the cause and solution. Topical medications fight the symptoms. Start by eliminating trans fats and eating more fruits and vegetables. Once you start cleaning up the inside of your body, by eating properly, the outside of your body (your skin) will be get cleaned up too. I started a website to document my problem and solution.

You might find it helpful to read my story. Just remember to eat an all natural/organic diet with lots of fruits and vegetables. Stay away from processed foods. Use mild, all natural cleansers and don't pick at your face. Get lots of sleep and enough water for your body weight. Remember, clean body = clean skin. While you're waiting for your skin to clear, remind yourself that acne is a challenge that you will overcome soon. Once you're rid of it, tell all your friends how you did it. That's what I'm doing. Reply:You cant get rid of scars this is way you should never ever pick. Wash your face a couple times of day, avoid chocolate, sweets etc, tie your hair back away from your face. Try a good face peel they have some at walmart.

Reply:I had the same problem growing up, but I got rid of it by my junior year of High School by doing a list of things:


1. Wash your face twice a day, don't over wash it because it will dry you out more.


2. Try not to pop your pimples, but do get rid of the nasty ones


3. Avoid Chips, Chocolate, oily food as much as possible


4. Don't touch your face during school...just leave it alone.


5. Try not to worry about it too much...stress creates more zits!

Try and make an appointment to see a dermatologist if you can, it might be pricey and the products will be too, but its so worth it.





These people are skin experts, they'll dianose exactly what the problem is (which is probably your hormones at your age) and they will recommend a skin care regime at home.





Other things you can do to help is not touching your face unless you have washed your hands, you transfer all the dirt off your hands onto your face otherwise, also make sure you use a good quality cleanser, preferably one with tea tree or green tea and wash your pillowcase regualrly, all the oils and dirt from your face gets transfered onto your pillow, and you wouldnt want to sleep on that would you?!

Reply:honestly there is not cure, i had the slightest case of acne and i wanted to go to a dermatologist and i did and nothin worked, its all bull, umm you will grow out of it i never get a zit anymore lol i lied only one or two very small ones when im getong my period and they are gone within two days without picking at them, the scars will fade over time, just wahs your face twice daily once at night once in the mornign with a gentle cleanser stay away from benzoyle peroxide its makes your skin more oily, use witch hazel instead stay away from comcealers and foundations they will clog your pores and cause more pimples, just let yourself grow out of it naturally, i know its hard i cried many times over the same situtaion, and now i dont have any, just dont let it get to you, i know it difficult, anddont over do it dont pick dont use extra strength formulas they dont work been there done that, they irritate teh pimples.

Reply:Try not touching your face with your hands. This will help cut back alot of dirt and oils to your face. Keep up with hand washing, this way if you do touch your face your hands won't have as much to pass on.





Drink alot of water. Water is great for cleaning body of impurites.





Products that are good vary from each individual. Before purchasing full-size try samples or travel-size. This way you don't get stuck with product unused.


Don't follow trends for products they all tend to run the same base. Pricey products don't work any better than ol' cheapo.
Reply:I would make a promise to yourself to wash your face twice a day. Before you wash your face tonight take a warm, wet clean wash cloth to your face - and (micro a few seconds) and apply.


repeat - wash your face with a pure and natural soap.


You need to apply toner (witch hazel) and let it dry and your acne medicine - (apply vitamin e to your acne from the pills only on the red scars)


Exfoliate twice a week - and an acne mask or a pure and natural mask - once a week - in time your face should turn around.





I suggest Arbonne clear advantage and also the Intelligence line to people 14-29 they make really pure, natural skin care and the acne line is very beneficial (my son uses it)

Reply:there is no way to get rid of scars but for better skin use face masks like mud masks or avacado cream with the white of an egg NOT YELLOW mix until creamy


apply to your skin until hard


wipe away with cucumber [to help skin look more oily]

~ cleanse your skin only once, at the end of the day. This will remove dirt and grime but will prevent further drying. In the morning, a splash of water and some moisturizer is all you will need.


~Exfoliation is essential for dry skin. When choosing your facial scrub, avoid any made from seeds or salt. These can have sharp edges which may tear dry skin, increasing moistur loss.


~ never expose your skin to really hot water. It dries out parched skin.


~ Never dry skin completly. One of the best ways to hydrate skin is just to pat it with a towel after washing, then apply moisturizer to seal in that extra moisturizer.


~ increase your intake of oily fish or take a supplement of essential fatty acids. One of the main telltale signs of deficiancy of these essential nutrients is dry flaking skin.

Honey and avacadoes are particulary rich in moisturizing properties. For the perfect skin food. Mash together the following ingrediants:





1/2 avacado


1/4 cup honey
