Skin problem!!!!!?

my forehead gets really oily because of my spots so i use a shine control moistouriser. if i don't moistourise then my forehead gets really dry and flakey but still the shine control moistouriser doesn't get rid of the flakey skin and it is still quite oily. when i use a normal face cream, it looks like i've slapped on baby oil on my forehead. i'm really stuck. can anybody suggest what i can use to help my forehead.

p.s the rest of my face is normal but very dry around my mouth. thnx

Skin problem!!!!!?
There is a product range called Vichy. It's for hypoallergenics, but it is very good for most skin problems. They've got solutions for everything!! I work in a shop where they sell it and it's fab. There's also a brand called Skin Doctors, and it's als very good. Both are quite expensive ranging from around £10 to £50, but they are excellent and a lot of my customers swear by it! Hope it helps.
Reply:Use the most gentle products you can find,i use baby soap and that new johnsons natural baby moisturiser,it comes in a light green tube with a leaf on the front,it's really good.
Reply:I've had acne since aged 13. I'm 38 now. Don't worry - its very rare to have it so long. But I've been through all the cyclin treatments and finally can conclude that the best things to try are:

Steimycin lotion for skin.

Minocin for controlling acne.

Raw garlic - chewed (a tiny bit at a time) makesa HUGE difference. But its hard work to get it down as it burns. This is due to the active ingredient being created when garlic is crushed (ie., attacked by an insect or parasite). The chemical has great antibiotic properties. I chew one daily at the momnt for my sore throat. I take pomegranet juice to keep the burn down. Don't try orange juice - makes it worse. Try crushing the garlic and then swallowing it whole to avoid the burning. Drink water or something to chase it down. Try nibbling a bit to see what I mean about the heat.
Reply:You should use something that is 100% soap free and fragrance free. These ones usually work for me.

Try Simple....its dermatologicallly tested too...
Reply:i get where ure coming from coz ive got da same problem and truly, there's nothing you can do about it.what i do is dat i only apply moisturizer on the flaky areas and if it gets too shiny i wipe it till itz almost gone.also u could try face wipe.they contain a lot of oil so the oil and water combined evens out the skin.though ure face feels dry, peopl dont see your flakes.and lastly, itz not advisable to use a soap bar for your face coz it sucks too much moisture out of your face.try using a cream bath or a shower gel(not scented of course)it works for me
